Welcome to Everest! With an elevation of 29,035 feet (8,850 meters), it is the highest mountain on Earth, and a dream to climbers the world over, such as yourself.
Over the course of the century that expeditions have sought to summit the mountain, more than 4,000 people have successfully conquered the peak.
This page will help you achieve that same goal so many others have already fulfilled, and experience something truly unique.
A word of caution- Since 1922, there have been 296 recorded fatalities. The mountain is formidable, and proper care must be taken to ensure your safety.
Make sure you have experience in high elevations, and take time to acclimate to the lower oxygen content. Medical conditions such as Acute Mountain Sickness can occur, and lead to illnesses such as High-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) and High-altitude cerebral edema (HACE).
Please consult your doctor before making any summit attempts to ensure your safety.
After you enter the map, press the play button to begin your tour. Happy climbing!
