Assistant Professor - GIS; Dartmouth College

Position Summary:

Dartmouth College (geography.dartmouth.edu) seeks an Assistant Professor in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS). We seek individuals committed to creative scholarship and teaching who complement and augment the Geography Department's existing strengths in spatial analysis, critical urban studies, development geography, and environmental change. We are especially interested in candidates who specialize in critical GIS and its applications to health, cities, and/or human-environment relations, but welcome applications from scholars whose research involves other geographic subfields. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program.
