Geographer and professor of ethnic studies at the University of Southern California, Laura Pulido, is known for her work on environmental justice, racialization, and activism. She completed a master’s here at the UW-Madison Geography Department in 1987 and returned this spring to participate in the departmental speaker series. Graduate students Heather Rosenfeld and Danya Al-saleh had the chance to interview her for Edge Effects about her work on the multiple forms of racism that enable environmental injustice and her other current projects.
