Yanghui Kang’s research was showcased in NASA-ESD July Highlight. This research has important implications for deriving biophysical variables such as Leaf Area Index from remotely sensed observations that are important for modeling crop yields at global scales for food crops.
Kang is a Ph.D. student in the Geography Department who conducts research through the Center for Sustainability in Global Environment (SAGE). Her advisor is Dr. Mutlu Ozdogan.
