The Department of Geography is delighted to invite alumni and special guests to “Science Hall After Dark”—the very first event of its kind! Following the homecoming parade, keep celebrating by joining us in Science Hall, a national historic building at the heart of the UW campus.
REVISIT Science Hall and travel back in time by perusing a special collection of historic maps and aerial photography in the Arthur H. Robinson Map Library.
REENGAGE with student life by exploring projects, advances in mapping technologies, and opportunities.
RECONNECT with old friends, and meet Geography students and alumni.
All proceeds from this event will support students in the Geography Department by providing experiential learning opportunities to help launch them into successful lives and careers.

The world’s largest public participation mapping project comes to UW-Madison! OpenStreetMap is a free, editable map of the whole world that is being built by volunteers largely from scratch and released with an open-content license.
12pm Panel & Pizza | Geography Library
Successful geography alumni, and businesses interested in hiring UW-Madison Geography students will share the importance of a geography degree. Networking lunch, with pizza included.
