Midwest Undergraduate Geography Symposium

The Midwest Undergraduate Geography Symposium (MUGS) represents a forum where undergraduate geographers can present research as well as meet and learn from other geographers in the region. It has been an annual event since 2005 that has consistently welcomed geographers from large universities and smaller liberal arts colleges throughout the Midwest.

UW-Madison Geography is thrilled to be hosting MUGS for the first time this year on Saturday, April 27, 2019, in historic Science Hall.

The Geography Department and MUGS Planning Committee are excited to welcome this year’s keynote speaker, Anne Bonds, Associate Professor, Department of Geography, UW-Milwaukee.

Please register for the conference and submit your paper and/or poster title and abstract by Saturday, April 6, 2019.
