Current Research

My doctoral dissertation research highlights the imbalances between dominant narratives of urban economic growth in India through real estate and infrastructure construction in rapidly developing second-tier cities – like Kochi, Kerala – along with the social and environmental impacts of its major material embodiment: concrete.
