Final Class Projects

Students in Geography 370: Introduction to Cartography finish off the course by designing, researching, and producing a map of their own choosing. For the instructors, it's one of our favorite parts of the course, as students come up with a variety of ideas to show off what they've learned throughout the course of the semester.

The final maps are displayed on the walls of Science Hall, on the UW-Madison campus. In order to share them with people who can't make it to Madison, we've built this website to show them off to the rest of the world. The sample images here are not the same thing as seeing the maps in person, so we encourage everyone to come visit the third floor of Science Hall and check out the real thing.
