The impact of relocation on employee commute convenience will be evaluated.
Recently, a large downtown Madison business completed its new corporate
headquarters
site selection process. The company currently occupies two large office
buildings near the State Capitol with nearly 800 employees in these buildings.
The new site is located between Madison and Sun Prairie, at the intersection of
Hwy 151 and Interstate 90/94. The company feels that the new location will
have
a positive impact on the business and its employees. We will evaluate the
relocation, in terms of the impacts on employee commute times and convenience.
Convenience will be measured by comparing the variables; time and distance,
from
the employee's home to each of the office locations (current vs. future).
