In SoLIM project, Knowledge Miner (http://solimserver.geography.wisc.edu/software/KnowledgeMiner/index.htm) can extract knowledge from existing soil maps and express the knowledge as a set of curves. The format of one curve is like this:

1        328.500000        0.140704

2        333.377777        0.245936

3        338.255554        0.379375

4        343.133331        0.585644

5        348.011108        0.846171

6        352.888885        0.997742

7        357.766663        0.873335

8        362.644440        0.540178

9        367.522217        0.227060

10        372.399994        0.062093

11        377.277771        0.011032

12        382.155548        0.001214

13        387.033325        0.000082

14        391.911102        0.000003

15        396.788879        0.000000

To import a rule from data mining result, first you need to create a blank freehand rule.

In the freehand rule editing view, click on "Import From Data Mining Result" .

In the pop-up dialog box, choose the curve file (.txt format). By doing this, the curve will be imported into SoLIM Solutions and changed into a freehand rule. So the data mining result can be used in soil inference.
