This interactive map of chronic wasting disease (CWD) was created for the course Geography 575 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the spring of 2022. The goal of this project was to provide insight into the spread of CWD across midwest states since 2005, and to provide a coordinated visualization that illustrates the change in CWD cases throughout the years as well as represent hunting data, including deer harvested and deer licenses sold.
