Congratulations to student Guiming Zhang for receiving a 2017 ‘Capstone Ph.D. Teaching’ award! The University employs over 2000 teaching assistants campus-wide, and Guiming is one of only fifteen to be chosen for an award in recognition of exceptional teaching. With an emphasis in GIS and big data, Guiming is currently a lecturer for the Department’s new Online Professional Master’s Program. The College of Letters & Sciences, with support from the Graduate School, celebrated Guiming’s accomplishments along with other students in February.
