Undergraduate senior, Makie Matsumoto-Hervol, received the 2014 Edna Glicksman award. The Glicksman Prize is awarded annually to a senior Letters and Science undergraduate woman in recognition of her “intellectual attainments, high womanhood and service in the college community.”
This prize was established in 1923 in memory of Mrs. Glicksman by her husband, Harry Glicksman, who was on the English faculty and also “Junior Dean” of the College of Letters and Science.
