Geographers in the Field: Creating a field manual for an inclusive and safe fieldwork experience

Fieldwork is a major component of many Geographers’ work, and it is imperative that we conduct fieldwork that is safe and inclusive. In this Yi-Fu, the Geography 920 seminar students led by Christian Andresen will present the first draft of a field safety manual to aid fieldwork activities in the Geography department. We will lead breakout discussions aimed at drawing insights, comments, and suggestions from our geography community to pinpoint key elements for conducting successful and safe fieldwork. Please join us and help develop a comprehensive field safety document tailored for all geographers to advance field experiences.
