Map Chat with Clare Trainor | May 1

Our monthly speaker series, Map Chat, continues this semester with UW–Madison alum Clare Trainor! On May 1, 2024 at noon, join us via Zoom or meet us in the Cartography Lab in Science Hall (room 250).

The news cycle is fast-paced and constantly evolving. Clare’s talk will focus on storytelling with data and finding creative ways to tell informative narratives through maps and graphics. She will share what it is like to work for a global news organization, visualizing complex issues and events in a spatial context.
