Dorothy Puestow Draheim Professor in the English department of UW-Madison (USA), Frédéric Neyrat is a French philosopher with an expertise in environmental humanities, contemporary theory, and technology studies. He is co-editor of the electronic platform Alienocene that charts the burgeoning field of Planetary humanities. Recently, he published The Unconstructable Earth: An Ecology of separation (Fordham, 2018), Literature and Materialisms (Routledge, 2020), Le Cosmos de Walter Benjamin (Kimé, 2022), and La Condition planétaire (Les Liens qui Libèrent, 2025).
